Homeland Contracting was selected to design/build a 20,185 GSF Child Development Center and Youth Services facility located at Fort Lee, Virginia. The separate services (CDC and Youth Services) will occupy a single facility, but will have separate entrances and no common spaces. The building will house administrative areas, activity areas---indoor and outdoor---for infants and toddlers, and a commercial kitchen. Standards as established by the Army, DoD, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children will be met. This will be a LEED Silver project. This design is in compliance with UFC 4-740-14.
