Project consisted of the demolition of existing facilities, asbestos abatement, above grade fuel oil tank (AST), and ground clearing. The project was abreast of the Elizabeth River requiring engineered site work to meet strict requirement for erosion and sediment control. The new guardhouse and security entrance was designed and built under the Management of Homeland Contracting to meet Anti Terrorism and Force Protection standards to meet the requirements of the client. The project included the relocation of high voltage underground power lines, construction of a new guardhouse, security fencing, traffic control system, parking area, and security monitoring systems.
