Mark Sausser

Mark Sausser joined the Homeland Contracting team 2009 as a Project Superintendent.  Prior to joining Homeland as an employee, Mark owned a small construction company that acted as a subcontractor to HCC. Being familiar with HCC operating procedures, Mark made the transition easily and he continues to make a valuable contribution to Homeland’s commitment to quality work completed on time and within budget constraints.  Mark is well-rounded and has taken pride in managing some of Homeland’s more demanding and challenging projects. 

With more than 25 years of construction industry experience and 15 years of field superintendent background, Mark is able to provide overall guidance and supervision for various disciplines and oversee trades for a timely and satisfactory completion of construction projects.  Particularly valuable are Mark’s 10 years of experience as a union carpenter and cement mason and background in heavy industrial, marine, commercial , residential and government contracting.  Mark is certified in CPR & First Aid, OSHA-30hr training, as well as Construction Quality Management, Drafting & Blueprint Reading, and Construction Cost Estimating.
